Since two decades HUSUM WindEnergy is the most important exhibtion of the international wind energy industry in Germany. For this year 25.000 visitors from 70 countries and approx. 950 exhibitors are expected.
Every two years the most important personalities and decision makers of the wind energy industry meet in Husum, new business relationships are established and existing contacts are intensified. Like in recent years SIAG Schaaf Industrie AG is participating at this exhibition with an own booth.

Particularly in the focus of SIAG and the HUSUM WindEnergy as well is the offshore wind energy. The still young market is currently booming – especially in Germany and Northern Europe. First projects have been established successfully, numerous further wind farms are commissioned or planned. The offshore wind energy has a huge, nearly unlimited growth potential - especially the North and Baltic Sea region plays an important role for the futural development.
„Within the HUSUM WindEnergy the most important decision makers of the wind energy industry come together. This is the optimum platform for SIAG to introduce the new business unit “maritime systems / offshore” and to establish new business contacts”, says Christian Adamczyk, Team Leader Marketing of SIAG Schaaf Industrie AG.
The portfolio of SIAG regarding the unit offshore amounts the field of engineering and therefore the whole project development starting with the concept up to the project implementation including after sales services. Furthermore SIAG is producing tubular steel towers, main frames and generator frames, transition pieces and foundation structures like monopiles, jackets and tripods as well as substations for the offshore wind energy industry.
